My greatest passion in life is art, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than creating unique visual worlds where captivating stories can take place.
I became a production designer over a decade ago, after working as an interior architectural designer and as a set designer in the film and television industry for seven years.
I am the grateful winner of three Israeli Academy Awards for designing the films Footnote by Joseph Cedar (winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival), Big Bad Wolves by Aharon Keshales & Navot Papushado (winner of the Saturn Award for Best International Film), and Foxtrot by Samuel maoz (winner of the Grand Jury Prize Silver Lion at Venice International Film Festival).
Other projects which I designed include A Tale of Love and Darkness by Natalie Portman, Beirut by Brad Anderson and Tony Gilroy, Absentia for Sony Pictures Television & Amazon Prime, Our Boys for HBO & Keshet Studios, which awarded me an Israeli Television Academy Award for Best Production Design, and more.
I’m a member of the British Film Designers Guild and the European Film Academy, proud father of three beautiful, creative, and messy children, and in loving domestic partnership with acclaimed writer/director Maysaloun Hamoud.
